UNISON South West Young Members

nymfgroup1

What are young members?

If you're under 27 years of age then you can get involved with UNISON's young members.  We know that there are many members who are still young at heart, but we have to draw the line somewhere!  We have over 4,200 young members across the South West.

Why does it exist?

Young workers need UNISON. UNISON needs young members.

All unions operate through the hard work of their Reps and Stewards. We need young members to get active within UNISON to be the Reps and Stewards of tomorrow.

Why get involved?

Because you have something to say? Because you want to make a difference? Because you want to develop your skills?

How can you get involved?

There are lots of different ways to get involved with young member activity. All UNISON branches have Young Member Officer positions on their committees and there are also regional and national activities and positions too.  For more information, contact your regional contact.
